If you feel burned out, talk with somebody now!

You should not keep what you’re going through inside you any longer. I made this mistake and others have as well and it’s a recipe for declining mental health. My personal opinion is I don’t care who you speak with but it’s important for you to speak with somebody that you trust. The range of people varies depending on your comfort level, but you can start with your spouse, a close friend or someone in your family.

There are other options as well, such as working with a coach as well as a therapist. If you feel you need professional help, guidance and even a little bit of accountability, working with a coach and/or therapist is a smart move.

So in the next seven days, it is important for you to speak with someone about what you were going through. Just getting it out and talking about it with somebody you trust can make a world of difference and even get the gears in motion for making the changes you need in life.

A quick word of caution, however. Don’t speak with someone who is just going to immediately tell you how to fix this. Speak with someone who is going to listen to you first and allow you to express your emotions.
